I would like to thank the citizens of Dallas County for the opportunity to serve as your County Clerk. Over the past three years I have made many changes in improving the services that the County Clerk’s office provides to the citizens of this great county. My primary objectives during this tenure is to use technology to correct and improve processes from the past and to assess present and future needs while building a strong foundation that will best serve my constituents now and in the future.

During these past three years, I have focused on making sure this office becomes one that is recognized as providing best in class services for the citizens of Dallas County. What was once an under performing office, has now been transformed into one with greatly improved customer services and improved efficiencies in the work flow processes.

Though much progress and many improvements have been made, there is still much more to be done. Therefore, I am asking each of you to support my re-election efforts so that I may continue the mission of moving the County Clerk’s office forward. It is my goal and mission to make sure that the Dallas County Clerk’s office is the benchmark for best in class services and practices.

Since my election to office, I have worked closely with Gary Fitzsimmons, the District Clerk to enhance our operations. Gary and I have made tremendous strides in bringing Dallas County courts into the 21st Century. The Dallas County Commissioners Court routinely applauds Mr. Fitzsimmons and I for our united efforts in creating transparency and efficiencies in the Dallas court system. Commissioner John Wiley Price who has over twenty years of service on the commissioner’s court has continually stated that it is truly a pleasure to work with a county clerk and a district clerk who work well together in moving Dallas County government forward.
